AeroCRS has entered into a contract with a new U.S. Part 121, domestic, flag, and supplemental carrier GlobalX, to provide its full suite of solutions including AeroCRS PSS, AeroCRS Network, and AeroCRS Analytics.
GlobalX will use the efficiencies of an Airbus A320/321 fleet operating wet lease and ACMI flights for airlines. The new airline will offer charter services for tour operators, casinos, professional and college teams, and other groups requiring a 150-seat aircraft capable of flying up to six hours. GlobalX will also use the AeroCRS platform to provide the booking engines for its charter operations, as well as a series of country-specific tour operators that it is forming under part 380 of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) regulations. AeroCRS will serve as the booking and hotel packaging engine for these tour operators. GlobalX has already announced plans for CubaX to operate daily charter flights to Havana, Cuba from Miami International Airport. Additional tour operators will be announced in the near term.
